Some users reported that they could not find ‘ES File Explorer’ after resetting Autel tools to the factory setting.

Due to security concerns raised by its operations, the Autel company plans to officially discontinue ES File Explorer by the end of December 2024.
At that time:
• 64-bit tablets (e.g., IM508S, MS908S, 808S, Maxisys Ultra) will be replaced with Files + Turbo Editor.
• 32-bit tablets (e.g., IM508, IM608/IM608 II, MX808) will be replaced with OI File Manager + Turbo Editor.
*Tablets ends with S is 64-bit tablet, i.e IM508S, MS908S, and the high-end tablets MS909, 919, ULTRA etc.
1. What tablet models will receive this new update?
All tablet models outside of Mainland China (Devices that are out of subscription cannot be updated).
2. Software ETA
Expected to be late December 2024.
3. How to complete the update?
Once the System update is installed, ES File Explorer will be replaced with new applications automatically.
4.Update Details:
On 64-bit tablets, ES File Explorer will be replaced by Files + Turbo Editor.
On 32-bit tablets, ES File Explorer will be replaced by OI File Manager + Turbo Editor.
Files/ OI File Manager: is used for file browsing, media, storage cleaning, etc.
Turbo Editor: is used to edit and modify configuration files, etc.
In Files/ OI File Manager, the file storage path is the same as that in the ES File Explorer, but the interaction pages are slightly different.
