How to: replace brake pad and reset brake sensor counter on a BMW 730i using Autel MaxiCheck pro scanner.
Put the vehicle on horizon level
There are a lot of disc jaws. Exchange them together.
The pads are also worn out, so the sensor warning light is also off. Replace the sensor.
Before sensor work
Compared to the new disc, one cut
The disc pad wear condition has progressed a lot
All exchanges and one cut. The electronic parking system must be operated with a deviated diagnostic scanner, i.e Autel MaxiCheck scan tool.
It can proceed without parts damage.
Reset rear brake service counter
Reset front brake service counter
After replacing the brake pads, return the electronic parking system to its original position.
After resetting the computer and commissioning, confirm that nothing is wrong and finish the work.
