The OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 supports all-keys-lost programming for the 2020–2025 Ford Escape smart key system via OBD. Programming tips are provided below.
AKL requires at least 2 keys to be programmed.
1. Ford Escape 2021-2025 Proximity All Keys Lost
G3 will program keys for Escape 2021-2025 (supports both add key and all keys lost), but requires a 3rd-party PIN code (24-digit incode). G3 cannot retrieve pin for these models.
Device will give you incode and you need to buy outcode/password to program proximity key.
2. Ford Escape 2020 Proximity All Keys Lost
G3 will program Escape 2020 proximity all keys lost by OBD, no Ford cable or 3rd party pin code required.
Select Ford- Select by module-Asia- Escape- Proximity- 2020
Read key number.
3 keys existed.
Select All Keys Lost
All keys will be erased.
G3 will ask to switch ignition off, which we don’t actually do.
Place the 1st key to be programmed into the slot.
Program 1st key successfully.
Place 2nd key to be programmed into key slot.
Program 2nd key successfully.
