Question:
Does Launch CRP919E work with Chrysler Hybrid vehicles? For example, 2021 Voyager or Pacifica.
The Chrysler EV icon is gray and failed to download EV software. Tried to enter Chrysler software, CRP919 will read VIN and does no more than draw codes though have SGW autoauth license.
Solution:
You will need Launch EV diagnostic kit to diagnose a Chrysler hybrid (EV) vehicle.
However Launch CRP919 series (CRP919E, CRP919X, CRP919E BT, CRP919X BT) is not compatible with the EV kit. That means to diagnose EV vehicle, you will need Launch X431 tablet + EV diagnostic kit or the CRP919 EV Diagnostic Scanner standalone.
