Possible to read and write EDC15C4 M57 BMW using foxflash?
Yes, no problem. immo which is located in EEPROM not in flash. Needed resistor 120ohm.
Foxflash pinout to BMW/Land rover EDC15C4
For FULL MODE modality use also:
– Rainbow flat cable
-3 resistors 120 Ohm
Note: Connect also the rainbow flat cable as shown in the figure only to communicate with the FULL MODE driver.
To read and write the Flash and the EEPROM using the foxflash FULL MODE driver, in addition to the multifunction cable, also connect the violet, orange and brown wires of the rainbow flat via a 120 Ohm protection resistor. In this way the ECU will enter Full Mode mode.

Read BMW Siemens DDE4 or Bosch DDE4 ecu by kess/galleto on desk. Just connect according to the picture below. Kline to pin 32.
I wrote this type of ecu without problems with fgtech2 v54 clone.
You have to correct checksum before writing edc15 is not done automatically.
Boot mode goes faster. best tool for bootmode edc15 is mpps16.
edc15c4 bmw mpps isn’t as well for bootmode, read was ok with MPPS in boot ! bit writting stop at 89 %. best desolder.
Desolder flash, and write via programer.
