Troubleshooting wizards for checking the ignition system
Troubleshooting wizards for checking the ignition system. Applies to L,
P, G, R and S series and gas-powered trucks.
This wizard contains the full collection of troubleshooting wizards for the
ignition system. Here you can find, among other things, the wizard for
visually checking the ignition system, checking misfiring and checking
ignition voltage.
The wizard also contains links to the Scania operational data portal
where operational data for ignition voltage over time, number of misfires
over time and misfiring frequency can be found. The operational data is
intended to be used as a support in troubleshooting fault codes and
troubleshooting wizards.
An internet connection and Scania account are required to view
operational data for the vehicle you are connected to.
The troubleshooting wizards can be found under Functions > Check >
Powertrain/Engine/Ignition system > Checking the ignition system.
Need Netframework 4.6 or up version installed on system.(After installation,need restart your pc)
In order to install SDP3, administrator rights are required.
How to Install and Activate Scania SDP3 2.48.2 for VCI3 on Windows 10?
Step 1. Install Adobe Reader 9.2
Step 2. Extract files “NDP462-KB3151800-X86-64-AllOS-ENU” and setup “Microsoft. NET 2015”.
Step 3. Open “Scania Diagnos & Programmer 3 2.48.2” to setup, it will take several minutes to complete.
*Make sure that the VCI unit and the SDP3 USB key are disconnected from the computer before continuing with this installation.
Step 4. Open “Prerequisites”
Step 5. Open the folder “Fix”.
1). Then check if your computer is 64bit or 32bit. Here we have 64bit computer and then open the folder “X64”.
- Right click on “Install” and select “Run as administrator”, then until you see “Drivers installed successfully”.
2). Back to open “Hardware ID reader” to copy the ID, wait until you can see a message “DragAndDrop transfer finished”.
Click on “Yes” and then the keys and values have been successfully added to the registry.
3). Back to enter “Fix” to select all files to copy.
Meanwhile, right click on “SDP3” on the desktop and select “Properties”, then “Open File Location”, paste the above files copied from the folder “Fix” and select “Replace the files in the destination”.
Step 6. Restart the computer.
Step 7. Open SDP3 on the desktop. Follow the tips to correctly use Scania SDP3 2.48.2.
