Recently some users reported that they failed to run OBDSTAR software update even after renewing subscription.
For example:
1.
Just renew my subscription on Nov. 8th, 2024, but still failed to update obdstar x300 dp plus software, it said the valid time of software has expired.
2:
Just renew license for X300 DP plus, try update the software but failed. It had servier maintaining error.
3. Failed to update OBDSTAR software after renewing subscription, it says App is not installed.
Here comes the solution:
Solution 1:
Exit User Center interface.
Login with user name and password again.
Then run software update.
Solution 2:
If solution 1 does not help, try solution 2.
Go to Home->Settings->Apps-> DiagProgram-> Uninstall Updates.
Then log in with user name and password.
Run software update again.
You can also do a factory reset and log in again.
Go to Home-Settings->Backup & Reset->Factory data reset
Reset Tablet.
Erase everything.
The solution can be applied to all OBDSTAR tools, Odomaster, P50, DC706, iScan, G3 etc.
