Both scanners has 13.3 inch screen, built memory capacity 256GB. Both of them has J2534 VCI and support online programming function.
Topdon phoenix Max services more than 130 light trucks, cars and 80 trucks. You can also paid to use EV pack, battery test and ADAS software.
Both support McLaren, Lamborghini Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley high end vehicles, Austrian and Indian markers.
Function are similar. Topdon has a charge base which is for you to charge the scanner.
Launch is the most pioneering company on the market. Topdon phoenix Max is the newly released model.
Topdon software subscription is cheaper than Launch. But Launch supports Renault/Mercedes gateway, CarSET pro database (with license). Launch has TPMS, IMMO, remote maker add-on modules. Launch will also generate Launch universal remote keys and chips. Topdon does not.
Launch X431 PAD 7 is a better buy in the long run.
