OBDSTAR DC706 ecu flasher released an important update in May 2023- Adding GPEC2, GPEC2A, GPEC3 and GPEC4 read and write in boot mode.
No more flex, hptuner or dimsport, dc706 can do it yourself, full reading and writing.
V30.08 software adds the following GPEC types:

*DC706 will clone these GPEC ECUs but not unlock them.
DC706 will show you the wiring diagram and instructions. P003 adapter is required to clone GPEC series.
For example
1).
OBDSTAR DC706 read/write GPEC2 in boot
2).
DC706 clone Chrysler Continental GPEC3 MPC5674F in boot
3). DC706 read GPEC2A in boot without problem
this is only done via boot mode.
Pay attention this will use the P004 adapter with comes with the DC706.
For this one you don’t need more advanced adapters.

I just did a gpec2a and got the extra power I used the white wire that’s says IGN it’s a switched 12v power supply so that gave me 3 powers and I was able to clone it that way.
DC706 also read 7G 8GF 9GF 10GF, GM T87, T8A and much more ECU/TCUs which were only available for Flex, B-flash etc. Now you can do it by DC706.
