Problem:
Trying to read and write a BMW X5 Bosch MD1CP032 ECU with Autotuner programmer.
Had problems after mail unlock and bench unlock.
After several attempts, he managed to write once. On subsequent attempts, he kept getting this error (could not start energy mode). How to fix it?
Possible solutions:
1). Turn off the ignition for 5 minutes and it works.
2). Battery off for 10 min, clear dtc than retry, it’s going to work.
3) The Autotuner team will solve it remotly. This error appears when the ecu is plugged/unplugged while the battery is still connected.
