Problem:
It is a 2025 Nissan Kicks all keys have lost. Connect Nissan BCM 40 cable but Autel IM608 has no communication with the vehicle. You can hook up cables but no communication. Did a 2024 the other data without problem
How to fix it?
Here is the clue.
2025 is on the new system.
By the looks of the dashboard, this is P16 Nissan chassis.
The BCM 40-PIN cable does not work because in the 2025 the wiring of the BCM connector has changed.
You have to pull out the wiring diagrams and find where they moved over the Can lines (smaller green connector).
Either use Consult 4 or locate the CAN pins.
How to find CAN pins on Nissan Kicks 2025?
This vehicle has both CAN and CanFD pins and probed both pairs separately.
The combination that worked was probing the low speed canH and canL while also having the Autel CAN FD adapter connected AND going through 2024+ Pathfinder.
So, extract PIN via eeprom, and then connect the Autel’s CANFD adapter’s CAN H+L pins directly to the vehicles CAN H+L lines, instead of thru the OBD (used a chrysler bypass cable for the CAN probes, bypassing firewalls), and attempt process selecting Pathfinder 24.
You also need the password extracted from the HFM module.
