To add a spare key for a VAG Porsche MLB vehicle using Autel MaxiIM IM508 or IM608 key programmers, you will also need to purchase the Autel APB300 programmer. This device is required to read the data from the original MLB key.
Which key should you use to add a spare?
Autel recommends using their universal iKey. The APB300 programmer comes with two MLB key circuit boards (IKEYAU004AL Audi A8 Droplet Style and IKEYAU014AL A4 style).
If you prefer to use non-Autel keys (such as original manufacturer keys), you must select the “Pay per use” option.

APB300 can not be used to replace the XP400 or XP400 Pro programmer.
