Problem:
CG FC200 does not connect with VW Simos PCR2.1 ECU. It does not read, does not write. The update is finished.
Software gave error “EF0A: Failed to get authorization code.”
Solution:
When the update is finished the online server are interrupted.
This tool is very good but always with live license. As all tools of quality. Same case is with KESS3 Original.
FC200 annual subscription is cheap, though, $200 per year.
All online features require the device to be within its active upgrade service period, such as checksum correction, IMMO OFF, DTC Off etc. Only reading/writing a few ECUs can be done offline.
FC200 will do checksum correction for PCR2.1, so it requires network connection.
