OBDSTAR DC706 ECU cloning tool will read and write VW Audi Skoda Seat Porsche CONTINENTAL Simos 18.10 ECUs. Here is the instruction to read VW Simos 18.10 ECU in boot mode.
You will need:
OBDSTAR DC706
MP001 programmer with jumper cables
Simos 18.10 ECU
Go to ECM, quick search Simos18.10
Select VW Continental Simos18.10 TC1791
Check the introduction and wiring diagram
Check ECU appearance, make sure it is identical to the image in DC706.
Check boot connection diagram
Disassemble the ECU shell, solder the wires as shown in image, connect 1 GND, 2 C4-01 A1, C4-01 A2, C4-01 A3, C401-A4 pins
Connect the harness according to the wiring diagram
Set up connection with DC706, MP001 and Simos 18.1 ECU
Press Start
Selct Boot mode and MP001
Connect ECM.
Read INT flash and save.
Read INT eeprom and save
Write INT Flash
Load external data
Load flash data you need to write.
Write flash successfully.
Write INT eeprom.
Load eeprom you need to write.
Write INT eeprom successfully.
Press Disconnect.
Done.
