Here’s the guide on programming a smart remote key on a VW Golf year 2011 UDS protocol with ID48 chip using OBDSTAR X300 DP (key master dp) via OBD.
Tools required:
OBDSTAR X300 DP tablet auto key programmer
OBDSTAR RFID adapter for VW AUDI SKODA SEAT 4 & 5 generation immobilizer
ID48 Chip/ ID48 key to be programmed
Procedure:
Connect Key Master DP with vehicle via OBD diagnostic socket
Turn on X300 DP and turn car ignition switch on
Select Diag Program->Immobilizer->VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat/VW->Program Key
Select 4th Generation Immo
Select Immo type: NEC 24C64 ICM
Select dash type: VDO-12
Step 1: Read EEPROM
save eeprom data
Step 2: Read Immo Data
OBDSTAR X300 DP tablet display registered key information
Make a record of the current screenshot
Step 3: Make Ordinary Dealer Key
You need to use RFID Immo adapter
Insert new ID48 key or ID48 chip into RFID adapter
Generate dealer key success
Step 4: Direct Add Key
Put the generated dealer key into RFID adapter
Add key success
Back to Immobilizer menu, select Read Immo Data to check the new key information
Select Program Remote->09-Central control
Test the new remote key
Success.
