Success! Have managed to do TP position reset on a Honda Accord, using new Vpecker – Xtuner E3 OBD2 WiFi Wireless diagnostic scanner with special functions.
First, connect the XTUNER E3 scanner with the car.
the indication light turns red after connection,
check the connection of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
if connect successfully, the indication light will turn to blue.
Then, go to TP Position Reset
Run the Xtuner E3 diagnostic software, and start to reset TP position
Choose the vehicle, and enter the diagnostic system
Press next page
Select TP position reset
This test confirms if the TP learning value is within limits. The learning value depends on carbon accumulation around the throttle body and stored in the ECM/PCM. If it exceeds the limit, reset it and clean throttle body at the same time
Xtuner E3 OBD2 scanner test tool will reset the TP learning value
Need to clean the throttle at the same time if reset the TP learning value
Click on OK to reset the TP learning mode
