Magic Motorsport Flex boot glitch unlocking new user feedback:
It was a 2022 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.5 CDTI fitted with a Bosch MD1CS003 ECU. Previously, this would have meant sending the ECU away for unlocking, leaving the vehicle off the road for 3–4 days before any tuning work could begin.
Now Bosch MD1CS003 glitch unlock is available in-house.
The unlock procedure involves carefully removing a resistor from the ECU PCB, carrying out the glitch unlock process, and then professionally re-soldering the chip back onto the board (see photos). Once completed, the ECU can then be read and written in standard bench mode for tuning, cloning, or other programming work.
