What adapter to use?
No special adapter required.
Use the PS2 remote renew adapter or renew adapter V2 (6-PIN).
Check the wiring diagrams in CGDI K2 device and solder wires to the key circuit board.
No need to remove capacitors.
What key to use?
It will generate brand new or used original key.
The frequency and key type must match those of the original vehicle key.
How to Read MQB49 5C/5D original key data with CGDI K2?
Update CGDI K2 to V5.7.0.
Go to More Functions- VW 5C/5D- Choose key type, i,e VW B8 Key
Check key wiring diagram.
Connect key circuit board with CGDI K2 using remote renew cable. No need to remove components on the PCB.
Place the original 5C key into K2 coil.
Read key data.
Read key data and CS code successfully.
Now you can generate a new or used original key as dealer key.
After generating dealer key with CGDI K2, learn key in car with other devices.
