How to Virgin Mercedes 7G Tronic ISM by Launch X-Prog3

Tutorial: how to virgin/renew Mercedes ISM 7G Tronic with Launch X431 and X-prog3.

Tools used:

Launch X431 IMMO Plus (or other X431 tablets with DBScar VII or smartlink)

Go to vehicle selection->Europe->Mercedes

Select ECU Erasing-> ISM/DSM/ESM

Launch X431 will show you wiring diagram

Follow diagram to connect devices as below:

Select Read Module Data

You can see module is activated and personalized.

Save backup data.

Select Completely Erase Module

The function requires network connection.

Confirm you have back up data.

Calculate erase password.

Press Yes to virgin ISM module.

Launch X431 X-prog3 renew 7G Tronic ISM successfully.
