Has anyone tried Autel MaxiIM IM608 key cloning (all keys lost) on 2018, 2019, 2020 Land rovers? What does the new 2015+ land rover update do saw something about cloning key. Is that like the londsor and avdi?
Yes, people tested it working.
Must use Autel universal smart keys though. No other key will work. Aftermarket or oem won’t work either.
Make sure you have wifi on. Hazards on and xp400 you go to go. Charge a lot too. Because those keys with tow are over 1k.
Example:
Done all key lost key via 2020 Range Rover (with alarm not activated) with Autel im608.
All key lost clone key function via obd but you have to use Autel universal key.
1 min to generate the universal remote and 2 minutes to code so 3 mins so if your good with picking lock 5 mins to nick the car.
Make sure you have the hazards on jump leads and good internet connection and Autel universal key.
Works on FK72 and HPLA (if you use extra cable to tap into can lines), jpla have to use another tool (Londsor K518 or AVDI).
One of the customers tried that on fpace hpla, but with aftermarket change id key. Failed, then owner found Ori key and keyless was not working anymore. Used yanhua acdp by obd to clone to aftermarket and after that both keys worked fully with keyless. He used double can adapter and it read all by obd. Used aftermarket changeable id key, so acdp read both key ids via obd, and cloned one of them to the key. 5min and done. All by obd.
