Problem:
Tried to read VW Jetta 2024 MED17.5.25 ECU with Autotuner programmer via OBD, but failed to connect with ECU.
Hood is open and connect a battery charger, still the same.
Solution:
This model has SFD security gateway protection.
SFD block on OBD communication.
Disable the SFD gateway with Autel/Launch X431 etc scanners.
Unlock SFD or bench it.
Bench read and write ok.
