Question:
Want to clone a Cummins CM2350 ECU from a Hyundai hx235 LCR vehicle. In Flex protocol, it has only one way reading ot writing option which is bench mode.
But when you open bench mode at the bottom, it has option unlock boot mode. Boot mode can be readed with special boot room version cable, which is looks for me same like connection in bench but just using connector. How to clone this ECU?
Here is the clue.
No problem. Flex will clone this ECU. Some users also managed to clone CM2450A/B ECU using the CM2350 protocol.
The connections are the same in boot mode and bench mode except when in boot mode you have to open the ecu to connect the boot pin the the board. Simple process.
Flex requires connecting the FLX2.80 cable.
That’s cause you have to flip the ecu to use the boot pin and they don’t want you damaging the pins on the ecu.
