Problem:
2011 BMW X6M all keys lost. Already read the CAS3+ and saved eeprom dump. DME is an MSD85.3. Which tool will get the ISN code from DME?
Autel IM608: Failed
Bench failed with a Gbox2/3. Double checked sufficient power directly to the gbox and all connections.
Can’t extract isn using IM608. Getting a “security access failed” message when trying to get the ISN number from the DME.
Boot mode isn’t listed for the msd85. It only gives me bench and obd as options.
CG FC200: Failed
OBDSTAR G3: Failed
Xhorse Multi Prog: Failed
Yanhua ACDP: Yes
Get ISN code under this option:
Hextag II: Yes, hextag is good for ISN reading. 30s with hexprog2 in bench.
Autotuner can read on bench full flash +eeprom (read as boot).
You need to read with flex in boot mode. Send MMS support the full backup of this ecu in a .bin file read by FLEX. Ask Flex support to give ISN. They will give you isn from MMF file.
Flex does only read map area on bench.
