Xhorse recently update VAG MQB49 5C/5D add key function via reading original key data. You may need to unlock SFD/SFD2 gateway before learning key to 2023+ models in car.
How to Unlock VAG MQB49 5C 5D SFD Gateway by Xhorse?
VVDI Key Tool Plus and Key Tool MIDI Database – Supports Obtaining SFD Seed for Third-Party SFD Unlocking**
**Usage Instructions:**
1. Obtain the vehicle’s SFD seed via OBD.
2. Send the seed data to a third party for calculation.
3. Copy the calculation result into the tablet’s input field to complete SFD unlocking. The unlock remains valid for 90 minutes.
Go to MQB49 5C System Function- Unlock SFD.
Upon opening it, a QR code will appear.
Scan the QR code with your phone to obtain vehicle data on the webpage.
Send the see data to a third party for calculation (contact mqb car, Marcelo Korenfeld, vaglogins etc for unlock code).
Upload the calculation results.
The tablet will then display a “Unlock Success” notification.
After unlocking SFD gateway, you have 90 minutes to perform related functions.
