Problem:
Read a Ford Range SID209 with Flex programmer full obd mode.
With voltage retainer LAUNCH in 14.3V.
Tagging OK, registering console.
patch ok.
play full backup start, then stop at 44% with request to disconnect the computer.
Car Won’t Start Up!
Attempting to bench mode
Connection and identification OK!
But reading is impossible!!
Any ideas to solve the problem?
Solution:
Sometimes Internet drop can cause it, usually if its patched by another tool but flex normally tells you its patched by another tool, forscan will recover this easy.
Keyless is the only problem. The rest are fine. This is a known issue. Keyless bench only.
Bench these only or use autotuner via obd, its simply not worth the hassle with flex obd.
If you already had the trouble, it will have to be disassembled to make a boot, contact the support they will send you the file already patched and it will go again.
