How-to: correct mileage on Toyota Prado 2013 93A86 using CG100 Prog iii programmer.
Model: 2013 Toyota Prado SUV 4.0L
Original mileage: 155225Km
Turn off the vehicle and wait for 5 minutes, disconnect the negative battery if necessary, remove the instrument cluster, and check the type and number.
Instrument number: 83800-60P02-A
Disassemble instrument cluster
Locate 8 foot EEPROM chip 93A86
Select Instrument function- Asian- Toyota- Prado 4000- 2009 93A86
You can solder chip to eeprom adapter or use clip adapter. Clip adapter is recommended.
Solder chip to 24/25/93/95 eeprom adapter
Connect eeprom adapter with cg100, then connect CG100 with 12V power adapter and USB cable
Press Read
Save original mileage data
Press Change KM
CG100 calculates current mileage, If mileage data is invalid or incorrect, quit operation, contact CG technician to verify before operation.
CG100 reads current km 155210km, it is actually 155225Km, it is not 100% matched, but does not matter.
then enter mileage you desired, i,e 61230km
Change KM success
Reinstall instrument cluster. Run a test. Check current mileage.
Done.
