Problem:
Read the ecu Sid310 Renault with Autotuner, and when mod and try to write back the same file he had this message in same protocol.
Error: authorization failed.
Solution:
Close all doors lock with remote after dash off, unlock doors with remote write without make id. Doors stay closed all time for your work.
Autotuner vs Flex which is better for SID310 full OBD reading and writing?
Autotuner has some problems with this, even in boot mode. Same problem also with CMD flash. Xhorse multi prog too. They have problem with checksum.
You can use Flex. It’s FULL OBD protocol, so you’ll get password, int.eeprom and int.flash. Should be easy.
Good internet connection, flex v2, car temperature below 30 and no worries. Also power supply is very important. Lower voltage may kill ecus after flex patching.
Another way is boot mode. Sid310 is not possible bench only boot and full obd.
But some people reported both devices have skilled this ECU via full OBD. Sometimes ecu get bricked when patch in full obd.
Flex support is excellent, if FLEX interrupts file writing and blocks ECU, contact support to help or write first read in boot (if it was full obd).
The best way is to read via OBD only, and write in boot mode.
