Launch X431 Adds Topology Mapping for Scania Trucks

Important Update! Launch X431 heavy duty software has launched the Topology Map feature for Scania trucks. More truck brands will be involved in the feature updates.

Here is a brief guide on how to use the Scania truck Topology mapping function.

These new software packages are available for download through the Software Update Center for the following devices:

NOTE: A valid subscription is required to use the Topology feature.

Supported Scania Vehicle List:

Including 2020 C 280C B, C 320C B and C 340C A about seven new models have been add,

Add EACS system for 113 models in the 3 series,

Add B6.7 CM2350 system for N288 UB models in the N series,

Add 15 special functions for EMD1, S8, TMS2 and other systems.

Auto Search
Truck Menu
Bus Menu
Inboard Engine Menu
Stationary engine
Common Special Functions

Vehicle System List Display

The image shows the topology display mode. Click the “System List” button at the bottom right to switch to list view mode.

Full System Scan

On the vehicle system topology (or list) interface, click the “Full System Scan” button at the bottom right to initiate a comprehensive system scan.

Scan Results

After scanning, the system topology (or list) displays the results with color indicators:
- Green: No faults detected.
- Red: Faults detected (number indicates DTC count).
- Gray: System not present.
