Go to Services & Support tab, select Service Inquiry
Then select Authenticity Check

You can also directly browser this site https://mycar.x431.com/pad/landingPageIndexSnValidate.action and go to the authenticity check page.
Input Launch X431 device serial number and hit Check button.
Except for a very few tools, most Launch products have serial number that are 12-digit long and typically starts with 9xxxxxxxxxxx.
The system will detect your Launch product type.
If the system cannot identify your device on the S/N of your VCI or tablet, system shows “SN does not exist”, your device is fake.
