Here is the tutorial on programming Land rover Range Rover 2018 all key lost with Autel MaxiIM IM608 XP400 and APA106 (dump mode).
Note: If you encounter any type of problem during the process, please upload the datalog on the top-right corner after failing to perform the functions. Please connect MaxiIM device to the network while performing the following functions.
Main Steps:
Read Dump DFLASH and EEPROM
Write Key
Write back data
Procedure:
Step 1: Read DFLASH and EEPROM Dump
Select IMMO Programming-> Land rover->Manual Selection->Range Rover->2015 up->Smart Key
Read operation guide carefully before starting the procedure
The procedure is as follows:
RFA(also called KVM) module located:
Remove the KVM module:
And remove the case
Desolder the crystal and capacitor
Solder the lines
T1 and T2 are the components of capacitor and crystal.
After you have connected the MCU to the programmer XP400 with APA106 cable, click on the go to “Read chip status” – Read/Write chip data(secure)(read chip from MCU)) – Start
key writing – Read/Write chip data(secure)(write new data back to MCU)
Step 2: Program Key (Write Key)
Then continue the last step to “start key writing”
Select the Dflash and EEPROM file that you have saved, Then choose a blank key position ID to make the dealer key.
Step 3: Write back dump
Then go back to the Autel IM608 menu Read/write chip Data to write the new created Dflash file and EEPROM file back to the MCU.
Reinstall KVM module to vehicle. Test new key.
Done.
