Original OBDSTAR X-100 PRO key programmer can only program new key for multi vehicle makes, X100 pro can also comes with OBD software that can program immobilizer, correct odometer and program EEPROM (with a OBDSTAR EEPROM adapter). Following is a step-by-step instruction on odometer correction for GM Cadillac SRX model.
Procedure:
Turn ignition to ON
Read the current mileage on the dashboard, here 59228KM
Connect the X-100 pro auto key programmer with vehicle via OBD port using main test cable
Select vehicle make in Main Menu
Select “Odometer Correction” function
Confirm odometer correction
The X100 pro will display the odometer correction OBD software version
The system is loading bin
Then select vehicle make: Cadillac
Select vehicle model: SRX
Click “Odometer Correction”
The system is building communication with the vehicle
The X-100 key pro will display the current mileage and VIN information
Press “Enter” button to change mileage.
Manually enter the correct odometer value, for example: 50000KM
The X100 pro key programmer will display the corrected mileage after well communication is built
Check the odometer on the dashboard and you will be able to see that the mileage has been changed to the correct value
Exit the software and disconnect the X-100 pro from vehicle
