Here is an example of Opel Corsa-C 2005 ECU programming with GM Tech 2 scan tool. (Opel vehicle model from 1997-2014 year are valid)
Equipment:
GM Tech2 OBD diagnostic scanner
TIS2000 soft CD and USB key
NOTE: Vehicle security code is needed. Please write it down before programming.
Instructions:
ⅠReset Immobiliser
Setup and connect GM Tech 2 OBD2 scan tool with vehicle via OBD socket
Select F0: Diagnostics in the main function menu
Select vehicle year, like 2005
Select vehicle model: Corsa-C
Select F3: Body
Select Immobiliser among various Body module options
Turn the ignition to ON position, wait few seconds to identify the TechⅡscanner
Confirm vehicle data, part number, alpha codo etc
Back to Body menu, select F3: Additional Functions
Select F1: Reset Immobilizer
Enter security Code, press Okay
Confirm the system warning: Engine until not start after reset.
Turn ignition to OFF position, the ignition status will be changed from 12V to 0V
The system displays Reset Immobilizer is complete message
Ⅱ Reset Engine Control Module
Back to Additional Functions menu, select F2: Reset Engine Control Module
Select installed engine by pulling down from the drown-down list
Wait for date and confirm the system notice
Enter security code, press Okay to continue
Turn ignition OFF
Then turn ignition ON
The system then will display Reset engine control module successfully message
Ⅲ Erase Transponder-Keys
Back to Additional Functions menu, select F3: Erase Transponder-Keys
Back to Body menu, select F4: Programming
Select Program Immobilizer Function
Select installed engine type, wait for date
Enter security code, press Okay to continue
Programming is progress. Please wait until the programming procedure is complete
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Insert none-programmed transponder key to the key slot
Follow the system notice
Back to the menu to project other functions, otherwise, exit the program and disconnect GM Tech2 scan tool from the vehicle.
