Magic Motorsport Flex and Autotuner programmers now support the Bosch MD1CS069 ECU OBD protocol for the Iveco Daily.
MMS Flex
New Flex update, version 7.49.0.0, now available, implementing OBD programming for the most modern Iveco vehicles equipped with Bosch MD1CS069, even those produced after 2021.
Thanks to this new protocol, you can now work directly from the diagnostic port of the vehicle (bypassing the SGW module), or establishing direct connection through the connector.
As of today, working on the map area doesn’t require unlocking the control unit nor shipping it to us: remove DTCs, boost engine performance, or cut consumption, all in a few minutes.
Some of the supported vehicles
Iveco Daily (IV) 2.3L FPT 16v 134HP
Iveco Daily (IV) 3.0L FTP 16v 177HP
New protocol available for the following software packages:
FLS0.1M – SW Flex ECU (car, van, bike) OBD/Bench Master
FLS0.1S – SW Flex ECU (car, van, bike) OBD/Bench Slave
FLS0.5M – SW Flex Full Master
FLS0.5S – SW Flex Full Slave

AutoTuner
Big news for your commercial vehicle tuning! You can now work on the latest generation of the Iveco Daily (2019+) equipped with the Bosch MD1CS069 ECU.
This update covers both the highly popular 2.3 Multijet EU6 and the heavy-duty 3.0 EU6 engines.
Maximum Flexibility: OBD or Bench!
This protocol is designed to work equally well via the diagnostic port or directly on your desk (OBD over BENCH). Whether the van is in your shop or you only have the ECU in your hands, you get a 100% real read (Normal Read).
Note: The specific wiring diagram (pinout) for Bench connections is provided directly within the protocol instructions.
Supported Vehicles:
Iveco Daily (2019+) – 2.3 Multijet EU6
Iveco Daily (2019+) – 3.0 EU6
Supported Engines:
2.3 Multijet EU6
3.0 EU6
Method:
OBD Normal Read OR OBD over Bench Get a real reading directly through the OBD port, or work on the bench if you prefer. The pinout is included right in the protocol instructions!
You need the SGW bypass.
Update your Tool today and boost those workhorses!

Ducato with the same ECU will works with Iveco protocol?
Only Iveco. It does not work on Fiat Ducato same ECU.
Even if it’s the same ECU, it’s not the same protection.
Alientech KESS3 also supports 2019+ Iveco MD1CS069 ECU, but on bench mode.
KESS3 introduces the BENCH protocol for Bosch MD1CS069 on Iveco Daily.
One of the most widespread applications in the light commercial vehicle segment can now be managed directly from the ECU connector with KESS3.
A new expansion of operational capabilities is now available with KESS3: thanks to the release of the dedicated protocol for Bosch MD1CS069 ECUs installed on Iveco LCVs, it is now possible to operate in BENCH mode, without the need for invasive operations on the control unit.
Widely used on 2.3 and 3.0 FPT engines since 2019, these ECUs represent a standard in the segment and are increasingly required by workshops working on fleets and commercial vehicles.
This translates into concrete advantages for daily work:
safe and efficient access in Bench mode
reduced intervention time
simplified management even on operational vehicles
Once the ECU is connected in BENCH mode, you can proceed directly with read and write operations, integrating the workflow in a streamlined and linear way.
The protocol is already available for KESS3 users with CAR-LCV and TRUCK-AGRI (for vehicles over 3.5 tons) BENCH/BOOT activation and active subscription.
