Autel IM608 BMW BDC2 Module Damaged After Add Key?

Problem:

One Autel user attempted to add a spare 2018 BMW X4 BDC2 key using the Autel IM608 and the G-Box. However, after the attempt, there was no communication with the BDC02 , and the chip got burnt. The process did not succeed. The BDC2 control unit is damaged.

Solution:

If you touch pin 3 of the eeprom, it kills the processor.

Be careful when using Autel to add key BMW BDC2.

How to Avoid Damage when Add BMW BDC2 Key with Autel IM508/IM608?

Buy a new BMW BDC2 module. 

Unlock BDC, follow the process of the one being replaced, generate the key file as is, write the key, then read the ISM that the BDC2 has, and write the same ISN to the engine ECU, with this the car will start!

 

You need FAFP data and immo data to successfully clone these, ACDP is the way to go.

Better use Yanhua ACDP to add BMW BDC2 key. ACDP has a repair function if you kill the BDC2 module.
