Yanhua Mini ACDP released a new module 41 for Toyota R7F701441/R7F701401 and S6J3001 cluster mileage correction via OBD or CAN mode. Here we will show how to correct mileage for S6J3001 cluster.
Tools required:
Operation Mode:
OBD or CAN
First try OBD mode, if fails, then use CAN (bench) mode.
Procedure:
Connect ACDP2 or ACDP1 with vehicle via OBD adapter.
Run ACDP App
Click Module- Toyota ODO- OBD/CAN Reset Mileage- S6J3001 ODO function.
Identify info.
ACDP reads original mileage.
Save mileage data.
Select Reset KM data function.
Connect the ACDP to OBDII, turn on the ignition and turn on the cluster.
Confirm mileage data again.
Reading odometer data, if enter programming mode error, it means you cannot do it via OBD.
Need to remove cluster and do it on bench by CAN mode.
Remove the instrument cluster.
Go to Clear DTC function and hit Help to check the connection diagram.
Connect ACDP with cluster via module 41 CAN adapter.
Select Reset KM data function again.
Confirm mileage data.
Save mileage data.
Pay attention to the backup file path, the file name should end with “Orig.bin”.
Input new mileage you need to change.
Write mileage.
Reset mileage finish.
Read mileage again. Now you can see the mileage has been corrected.
