Foxflash Software Crashes when Read/Write ECU Solution

Recently some users reported their foxflash software crashes during read or write ECU process. That’s because they did not enable the highest administrator privileges on the system.

How to Enable Highest Administrator Privileges (on Windows 10?)

Press win+R to run Command, input and open gpedit.msc

Disable Elevated Privileges In Windows 10 1

Go to Local Computer Policy->Windows settings->Security Settings->Local Policies

Disable Elevated Privileges In Windows 10 2

In the right pane you will see a setting User Account Control: Turn on Admin Approval Mode. Double-click on it and select Disabled.

Disable Elevated Privileges In Windows 10 3

Also disable User Account Control: Admin approval mode for built-in admin accounts. Double-click on it and select Disabled.

Disable Elevated Privileges In Windows 10 4

After enabling the highest administrator privileges, restart computer, then read and write ECU with foxflash again.
