JMD Assistant obd adapter is tested successfully with Handy baby key programmer to copy 48 transponders/chips for VAG group vehicles. Latest test is to copy keys for VW Beetles 2013.
We use:
JMD Assistant adapter
The original key
The new key to be programmed
Test procedure:
Step 1 – read JMD assistant data
Insert the original key to turn on to make sure it works
Inset the JMD assistant adapter to the OBD port on the car
* If dashboard happen spangled or re-light (don’t worry that phenomenon is ok)
*Finish could listen beeper short “BiBiBi” by OBD that’s was OK could next step
*Finish could listen beeper long “Biiiiiii” by OBD that can’t clone so far. (upgrade continue)
Put the JMD assistant on the coil ans select “More fun” in the handy-baby menu
Select Volkswagen
OK to read
Read success.
Step 2 – read the original key data with Handy baby
Then put the original key to the coil
Reading the original key data
Read success.
Step 3 – copy JMD48 chip
Put the JMD 48 chip into the coil
Copying by 48 chip
Copy success! Copy more?
Step 4 – verify the new key work or not
Test the new key on the car. It works, as the original
