Is it possible to clone 2019 Ford Transit SID211 ecu with the Autotuner tool? Is it a straight clone on bench 1 to 1 without opening?
No, You must transfer password, not possible bench clone 1 to 1. Needs password area sorting in between, can’t just read/flash.
Magic motorsport Flex will clone sid211 by bench and all works ok. Make a backup on original and restore that backup on 2nd ECU.
Alientech kess3 will 1 to 1 bench clone this ECU.
Hexprog 2 does it as well.
SID211 is not locked easy clone but you must edit password in flash or you won’t be able to update the ECU in the future.
You can clone these ecu’s but after clone password will be wrong so can not write ever again. probably better just programming it, may even be able to use forscan.
Copy all the contents of the original to the donor, then synchronize it on the car using FDRS (keys).
Best adapt with Ford tool.
