Problem:
It’s a VW golf 7 gti with simos 18.1 ECU. Autotuner doesn’t write modified file stuck at 49% at unlock phase 0010 version. Flash frf it starts the car but only fail at unlocking ecu. AT software shows error OBD patch failed. Any solution?
Possible solution:
1. Change software version. Do a software update/downgrade and then tune to new file and try again
Click write from server, and pick one version newer (upgrade) or one version older (downgrade).
Use 007, its pretty ok version for tuning.
2. If that doesn’t work, use different tool (Flex etc). Some users reported they also have no luck with 0010 version using autotuner.
