Problem:
It’s an OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 with ECU license. Downloaded all the software, but when I select the car model, it fails to execute the Immobilizer or ECU function.
Error: Diagnostic program loading failure, please return to exit. -016 [security is not ELF file].
Solution:
Delete the old secret key from the key folder in the ES file browser (the secret key is usually in the serial number folder and begins with “ST”).
Once in the ES File Browser, go to “Local-Home-DP-961400063990 (your device serial number)” in the upper left corner and check if there are two files starting with “ST” in the folder. Delete the old one. Then try again.
