Tools used:
ENET cable and E-sys coding software.
How to clone and code ECU?
Select BMW EDC17C50 TC1797 protocol. Check wiring diagram.
Connect ECU with FC200 via ecu jumper cables.
Back up original EEPROM and Flash data.
Read ISN and save all data.
Prepare a donor ECU.
Write original eeprom and flash data to the donor ECU.
Replace and install the donor ECU in car.
Try to start car, the engine warning light and drivetrain light turn on.
It lights up and doesn’t turn off.
We need to do coding with E-sys.
As for the DME part CAFD file is missing.
Detect cap and do coding.
Done ISG individual codings and FDL coding.
