What tool to reset Toyota Aygo/Auris airbag module 89170-0H230?
The processor is the “16843”, Renesas R7F7016843. You should read the Renesas R7F7016843 locked processor to clear the crash data. It must be read by CANFD, because JTAG read is locked
1. Carprog
Carprog to read it by OBD/CAN FD, because the JTAG is locked.
2. CGDI CG70 reads writes via CAN FD
It will read and write airbag module 89170-0H220 and 89170-0H230.
Some reported they had bootloader error when try to clear airbah crash using cg70.
Switch off the power disconnect and connect back. Then go to clear direct without clicking any other thing no clear dtc no read module if present. Or read eeprom if available for that module. Same thing to write back eeprom after clear. Eeprom/flash.
4.OBDSTAR P50+ CAN FD adapter or X300 Classic G3
P50 will read and write this airbag via CAN FD (need adapter). G3 has built-in CAN FD protocol, does not require extra adapter.
OBDSTAR will reset airbag crash for Toyota SRS with mcu processor R7F7016443 and R7F7016843 via CAN FD.
