Newer Honda Accord/City, etc. mileage data is stored in a secured processor spansion mcu S6J3001LSJ. There is also an RH66 chip, but the km data is not stored in it.
Here we will show how to correct Honda S6J3001 instrument cluster using CG100X programmer.
This is a Honda City with S6J3001 cluster.
Original mileage: 29,224km
Run CG100X software, select Dashboard-Instrument function.
Select Honda- ACCORD-S6J3001
Check wiring diagram. Make sure the diagram is the same as your cluster !!!. Requires 12V power supply as well.
Then connect CG100X with cluster via Pro adapter V2.
Hit Start operation once set up connection.
Read mcu data then save.
CG100X will display current mileage of the vehicle. Check and confirm the mileage is the same or very close to the original mileage.
Then input the target mileage, i.e 18,200 km.
Press OK to write mileage data.
Correct mileage successfully.
Install the instrument cluster back to vehicle and check new mileage.
Done.
