How to Renew Benz W204 ELV with Launch X431 and X-prog3?

How to renew Mercedes Benz W204 ELV, make it virgin then you can write EIS data using Launch X431 Tools.

 

Tools used:

Launch X431 tablets (X431 V+ V5, X431 Pro3S+, X431 Pro TT, Pro3 APEX, Pro5, PAD VII, PAD V etc)

Launch X-prog3 programmer

Launch MCU3 adapter

Benz W204 ELV

 

Instruction:

Select Mercedes Benz-> Anti-theft function->Wiring diagram->W204

Check wiring diagram to ELV

Connect X-prog3 with mcu adapter, ELV motor and Launch X431 tablet following the wiring diagram

Select Replace and Match->Read module data

Read ELV information

Back up module data successfully.

Clear TP Protection

Select Complete Erase module. This function requires network connection.

The ELV module has been completed erased.

Then you can write EIS data.
