OBDSTAR P003+ ECU Bench Jumper vs P003 ECU Jumper Cable

OBDSTAR P003+ new ECU bench jumper cable adapter differs slightly from the old P003 ECU jumper. The bench jumper can be used with OBDSTAR DC706, MP001, P003, P003+ Programmers,

This is the old jumper and it has only 2x 12V cables. It marked ‘ECU Bench‘ on the connector.

This is the new Bench jumper from P003+ adapter. You can see it marked “Bench A V3” on the connector. It has 3x 12V cables.

New vs old bench jumper

Some wiring diagrams require connecting 3x 12V cables. In this case you should use the new bench cable.

The new Bench jumper cannot be used with old P003 adapter directly.

You need to modify the new bench jumper to work with the old P003 adapter. Photo attached:

Better to use the new ECU jumper. The new ECU bench adapter can be purchased separately.

By the way, now both P003 and P003+ come with the new ECU bench jumper set.
