CG FC200 Clone Audi MED 17.1.1 ‘SAFE’ Error Car Not Start?

One of our customers was trying to clone the Audi A4 MED 17.1.10 TC1797 ECU using CG FC200 ECU programmer.  It wrote ‘clone successful ‘ but on the vehicle it start and cuts with ‘SAFE’ on cluster on the vehicle its writing SAFE on the replacement unit and the car start and dies within seconds.

This is the fault of original unit.

 

 

 

Solution:

The problem is usually caused by a bad P-flash file.

Send both D-flash and P-flash data to CG engineer or tuners, they will modify P-flash.

Then write the modified P-flash data to the replacement ECU. It should be fine.

 

 

Feedback:

Now car starts after writing the modified P-flash data.
