OBDSTAR DC706 recent update adds many Bosch MED17 series ECU (MED17.1.10, MED17.1.21, MED17.3.4, MED17.3.5, MED17.7.1, MED17.7.2, MED17.7.3, MED17.7.3.1, MED17.7.5 etc).
Here is an example of cloning a Mercedes Benz Bosch MED17.7.2 ECU on bench.
Tools used:
OBDSTAR P003 (or P003+ or MP001 adapter)
How to clone Bosch MED17.7.2 ECU with OBDSTAR DC706?
Select Benz Bosch MED17.7.2 TC1797
Check instructions you can use MP001, P003 or P003+ adapter
Check pinout and connect DC706 with P003 following the wiring diagram
Connect and read chip ID
Read and save INT eeprom
Read and save INT flash
Disconnect.
Change a donor ECU. Connect the donor ECU following the wiring diagram again.
Back up eeprom and flash of the donor ECU
Write original INT eeprom to the donor ECU
Write original INT flash to the donor ECU
Disconnect.
Install the donor ECU and test.
It is working.
