Only, Xtool, Autopropad, OBDSTAR and SPS2 will program new GM CAN FD proximity smart keys bypass pin code (No 3rd party to get 24-digit password.).
The $500 or less Xtool D7, D8, D9, D9 Pro can do CanFD, even 2023. (Stand alone the D8 & D9 ) (with CanFD the D7). X100 PAD3, A80, A80 Pro will also do this.
D7 does this fine. The D7 didn’t have the CAN FD so you had to get a different cable and use Xtool CAN FD adapter.

Here is an example add a smart key to a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe using Xtool D8.
Connect Xtool d8 with vehicle
Select GM Immobilizer->GM->Chevrolet->USA->Tahoe->2021-2022 (CAN FD)->Free pin code method
Free pin needs to connect network or WiFi hotspot to access online server.
Press Start button once then release.
Read number of keys
Select Add Key function
Turn on emergency indicators
Long press Start button to turn on ignition switch
Put a working car key into cup holder
Configure system. This takes 10 minutes. Wait patiently.
Put new key into cup holder and keep other keys away
Check the information on the cluster, it is in learning mode.
Long press the Start button for 2 seconds, check the cluster, if the display does not change, release and hold the start button again (unitl there is a change) then press OK to continue.
it says ready for key number 3 and ready for key number 4
Press OK to continue.
Insert new key and press Start button.
Key learning completed.
Test the new key. Done.
