It is a rumor that the new CG FC200 ecu programmer will not do checksum correction. It does do checksum but requires network connection online and within software subscription period.

This programmer is dedicated to the new generation ECU where it covers 99% of the Bosch brand and in development on other ECU brands.
One of the fc200 users has tested on PSA Citroen Air cross 2018 EDC17C60, read and write no problem, automatic checksum correction.
It’s necessary to have an internet connection before starting.
You need also an external power supply 12 volt at 2 amps, it’s enough and see what is capable to do this one.
Run fc200 software, select Bosch EDC17C60 TC1793, check wiring diagram
Set up bench connection between FC200, ECU and computer according to the diagram
Identify ecu information
Read Dflash
Read dflash super fast, save data
Read Pflash
Pflash reading takes longer.
Save data once completed
Then modify pflash. The user modified dump from Flash to show that it does automatic checksum correction.
Press Write Pflash
Upload the modified pflash data
Press Yes to start checksum correction
Checksum correction is done. Write data successfully. The user was really happy with the cg fc200 programmer.
It never disappoints him.
