PCM support most of the ecu and have multifucntion for use , and take care most of the car and ecu model ,also have more others extra function and vavules, PCM team from Tuner team and North american, maybe more understand what you want | FC200 main work on most of the bosh ecu and have annual fee but it is very easy to use .
FC200 works good on BMW ISN. |
*Keep updating…
Summary:
- FC200 has more protocol
- FC200 can only do checksum fix online, checksum won’t work if the subscription expires.
- FC-200 works only on Bosch ECUs, So for Magneti Marelli, Continetial or siemens pcm is better
- If you want to used for dpf, egr, adblue off and remap, PCM is better
- FC200 only some BMW ECU can be done via OBD
- PCMcannot do BMW ECUs (EDC17xx etc)
p
In conclusion, depends on what is the main purpose of your buy. FC-200 could be useful for BMW ISN from Ecu or maybe for some Ecu cloning, but only some of them because most of MEDC17 needs adaption of OTP and password or immo transfer for successful cloning.
Better to have both, FC-200 has only bosh ecus but has more pin out diagram for every ECU it supports and more user friendly, pcm supports variety of ecus including denso etc that will complement your work easily. They are quite cheap compared with flex, AT and so on.
